A FAMILY is appealing for witnesses after a man fell during a busy festival at Christchurch Quay last Saturday.

Geoff Deedman, 76, was found in the public toilets on the quay at around 5.30pm during Stompin' on the Quomps. His daughter, Carol Bastin, said Mr Deedman was treated for a bleed on the brain.

Ms Bastin said this has resulted in the left side of her father's body being paralysed and that doctors need as much information as possible about the fall to ensure the best possible treatment.

Any witnesses should call her on 07583 310476.
