A little more sensitive with the text book 'safe and well' expression please. Of course we are all very relieved he has been found safe, but surely not 'well'. Given earlier reports and the last paragraph *But after he checked in at a hotel, staff became concerned for his welfare and contacted the authorities." it seems this poor gentleman is sadly not very well.

I think safe and well means safe and alive to be honest, I am really glad hes been found. I would imagine hes confused but his family must be so relieved just to have him home.
