VOLUNTEERS are needed to lead activities with Wareham’s scouts and rainbows groups.
The Explorer Scouts, aged 14-18, meet at Wareham Scout and Guide Headquarters, North Bestwell Road, on Tuesday evenings.
The rainbows, the youngest girl-guiding members, aged 5-7, meet at the same venue earlier on Tuesdays after school.
A spokesman said: “The explorer scouts would welcome help from anyone who prefers outdoor and adventurous activities, including running a very successful Duke of Edinburgh Award programme.
“In the last eight years we have had more than 40 take part in this with many attaining gold DofE and Queen’s Scout Awards.
“For more information do call in on a Tuesday.
“Other groups, including guides, brownies, beavers, cubs and scouts also meet at the hall and we would like to hear from anyone willing to help us provide worthwhile activities for children and young people in Wareham.”
