Bournemouth Echo: WELCOME ADDITION: New manager Joe Sweeny WELCOME ADDITION: New manager Joe Sweeny

HOLIDAY home company Blue Chip Holidays has named Joe Sweeny as its new portfolio manager for Dorset.

Mr Sweeny previously worked at HomeAway.co.uk, where he was a property agent account manager for three years.

The company, which is the south west’s largest provider of four and five star self-catering homes, plans to increase its property portfolio in Dorset over the coming 12 months.

The company, which has more than 90 properties in the area, aims to add up to 25 select properties locally in response to customer demand for high end properties, particularly in Poole, Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Dorchester.

Stewart Black, business development director for Blue Chip Holidays, said: “Joe, who is based in Bournemouth, has a profound understanding of the holiday home market in the county, putting him in an excellent position to help holiday home owners, developers and investors maximise bookings and income.”

Genuinely quite shocking that this gets paraded as a news item isn't it, but from a publication who's standards are so low I suppose it shouldn't really be such a surprise.

Googling the first sentence of the "news" article gets a few hits, so presumably it's just a press release presented as "news"
