Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing teenager from Weymouth.

Jack (G) Adams, aged 16, was reported missing having last been seen at an address in the Wyke Regis area at around 11.25am on Sunday, December 31.

UPDATE: Dorset Police have confirmed that Jack Adams has been found.

Jack is described as five feet eight inches tall and of slim build with shoulder-length brown hair, tied in a knot at the top. Jack is believed to have been wearing a grey or black beanie hat, green T-shirt, navy blue fleece, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Detective Inspector Andy Marsh, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Jack’s welfare and we are keen to locate him as soon as possible to make sure he is OK.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us as soon as possible.

“From our enquiries we understand Jack may have travelled to the Bournemouth area.

“Finally, I would like to appeal to Jack directly if you see this to please make contact with us and let us know where you are. We just want to check that you are all right.”
