Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a Weymouth petrol station.
The alleged incident happened opposite the Esso Service Station on King Street at around 8.10pm on Monday 21 January 2013.
A 23-year-old local man was left with facial injuries following a large disturbance in the street involving several people.
Police Constable Colin Bell, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to come forward and assist with this investigation.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this disturbance take place, or has knowledge of those involved.
“Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence.”
Two 22-year-old men, one from Weymouth and the other of no fixed abode, have been arrested and released on bail while enquiries continue.
