MANCHESTER United could be boosted by the return to fitness of two players ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash at Cherries.

Erik ten Hag's men currently sit fourth in the table and are looking for the points they need to secure Champions League football next season.

Meanwhile, Cherries have already achieved their goal, of avoiding relegation, and will be looking to end on a high in their final home game of the season.

United today confirmed star forward Marcus Rashford took part in training, having missed the weekend win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

England international Rashford is United's clear top scorer this season, with 29 in all competitions from 53 appearances.

The 25-year-old has scored five goals in nine previous appearances against Cherries, winning seven, including netting in the 3-0 win in the reverse fixure at Old Trafford in January.

Elsewhere, midfielder Scott McTominay is also back in training after a lengthy lay-off.

The Scotland international has not featured since early April due to injury.

His return would come as a welcome boost given the news fellow midfielder Marcus Sabitzer will not play again this season due to a knee problem.

Cherries currently sit 14th in the table and face Everton away to end the season, after playing Man Utd.
