We want your pictures and video!

If you find yourself in the middle of a major local incident or see something interesting and newsworthy and you happen to have a digital camera or mobile camera phone with you, then take a snap or film some footage and send it in to us as soon as possible.

Just follow the simple instructions below and you could be making the news!

See it, Snap it, Send it. You can now text us, send videos, pictures and audio from your mobile. Type BE in the message box, leave a space, include your name and location and then send it to 80360.

You will receive a confirmation message informing you that we have received your contribution.

If you don't receive a confirmation message, check to make sure you've included BE in the text of your message and not just subject line.

Messages will only cost your normal operator text charge. Services provided by Newsquest Media Group.

If you submit a photograph or video you must abide by our terms of use. It must be your own original work, or else the owner must have given you permission to let us use it. If you want to send pictures by email, then use the following email address: newsdesk@bournemouthecho.co.uk

Simply download your images from your camera or mobile phone and send them as attachments. Please include your name (so we can credit you), contact details and a brief description of what's happening in your photos.

Please send your pictures at the largest file size as possible. They must be jpgs. The minimum size is 20cm on the longest side and we need them to be at 300dpi. If your pictures are smaller than this, we are unable to use them.
