BOSS Andoni Iraola has outlined the area he feels “we need to improve more” as Cherries continue their search for a first Premier League win of the season.

Cherries have two points from their opening four matches under Iraola and welcome Chelsea to Vitality Stadium this afternoon (2pm).

Also under new management in Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea have struggled for results so far, with just four points to their tally, suffering a shock 1-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out.

But Iraola feels the Blues deserved more from their performances so far, highlighting their ability to dominate possession.

Asked how he will prepare the side to not have a lot of the ball this weekend, Iraola said: “I think we have to be ready, because it is not the way we want to play, but we are facing now Chelsea, Brighton, Arsenal.

“If you put Man City there, they are the top four teams in possession.

“Probably there will be times where we don’t have the ball and we have to defend lower and we have to improve there.

“Because the area we need to improve more, for me, is when we are defending low.

“We are conceding too many chances when we are defending low.

“We are not struggling so much with the press, with the high line. I think we are doing quite well with this.

“But there are moments where we are defending a little bit lower, we have the numbers, we shouldn’t concede chances but we are conceding them.

“It is the area we need to focus overall, but especially for these next games where we will probably be facing this situation.”
