CHERRIES have been boosted by the return to fitness of Dango Ouattara, ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.

Andoni Iraola’s return to action at Vitality Stadium this weekend, after a two-week international break.

And that time has been used to recover Ouattara, who has not featured all season due to an ankle injury.

Iraola also confirmed his international contingent had returned fit and ready, but four players do still remain on the treatment table.

Cherries’ head coach said: “Today was the first day we could train with Marcos (Senesi), Junior (Traore) and Luis (Sinisterra).

"Now we only have injured Tyler Adams, Alex Scott and the ones that have been out for more time like (Ryan) Fredericks and (Emiliano) Marcondes.

“We have recovered Tavernier, who helped us the other day (at Brentford). Adam Smith was on the bench.

“Dango has been training with us this week. So we are slowly, slowly recovering important players. I think we are getting stronger.”

Asked if Tavernier is fit enough to start, Iraola said: “I think he is. He played really well, the minutes he played the other day.

“These two weeks were good, especially for Marcus Tavernier, Lloyd Kelly and Adam Smith, coming back from injuries. This week we have recovered Dango also. These have been successful weeks.”
