ANTOINE Semenyo insists Tottenham Hotspur have “still got so many good players”, despite the loss of talisman Harry Kane.
The England captain departed Spurs on the eve of the Premier League season, joining German giants Bayern Munich.
Spurs are yet to add to their squad since Kane departed, but have made an unbeaten start to the season with a draw at Brentford and victory over Manchester United.
Asked how he sees the challenge of Tottenham without Harry Kane, Cherries forward Semenyo told the Daily Echo: “Whether they have Harry Kane or not, it doesn’t really matter.
“We will just approach the game how we would with any other team really, even if they’ve lost their star man.
“They’ve still got so many good players on their team so we’ll make sure we build up through the week and prepare for Saturday.”
Semenyo will hope to keep his place in the side, having found the net for Cherries last weekend, in a 3-1 defeat at Liverpool.
Reflecting on the loss at Anfield, the 23-year-old said: “It was obviously a tough result, but I think the boys played really well.
“We went ahead early and thought we could keep the lead, but unfortunately a couple of fouls and stuff and we lost the lead.
“But I felt like we played well overall and we just have to build on that for the next games, build on the positives.”
He added: “There are so many positives to take from that performance, we just have to do the same for this week and hopefully get the wins.
“We just have to build on the positives and keep going.”

With the score at 1-1, Liverpool were awarded a controversial penalty when Dominik Szoboszlai went down under the challenge of Joe Rothwell. Mohamed Salah scored from the rebound, after Neto saved his spot-kick.
Reds midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was later shown a red card, but the hosts netted a third goal minutes later, through Diogo Jota.
Asked for his take on the penalty decision, Semenyo said: “I felt like it was a soft one, to be fair.
“It didn’t even look like it was in the box. But the VAR are there and they can see it.
“But I felt like that kind of separated the game from us and then when they got the third it kind of killed us as well.
“Even when you’re 3-1 down, you just have to keep going and keep playing the way we’re playing.
“We had a few chances ourselves and obviously just didn’t finish them.
“On another day, we could’ve been lucky. We just have to keep going.”
