DETAILS have been confirmed for Cherries’ FA Cup clash against Burnley.
Gary O’Neil’s side will welcome their Championship opponents to Vitality Stadium on Saturday, January 7 for the third-round contest.
The game is set to kick off at 3pm.
Cherries defeated Burnley on their way to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup under Jonathan Woodgate in 2021, winning 2-0 at Turf Moor.
But they were brought back down to earth in the competition last year, humbled at home by non-league Boreham Wood in the fourth round.
Burnley, who sit top of the table, are managed by two-time FA Cup winner Vincent Kompany.
Cherries have lost their last three home matches against the Clarets, most recently in the Premier League in December 2019.
O’Neil’s men begin 2023 with a trip to Manchester United on January 3 and then head to Brentford on January 14, after the home clash with Burnley.
Ticket details for the FA Cup game will be released in due course.
