TWO of Cherries’ Premier League fixtures have been moved for television coverage.

Gary O’Neil’s men will see games against both Newcastle United and Manchester City broadcast by Sky Sports in February.

The dates of both fixtures have remained as initially scheduled, but will now each kick-off at 5.30pm.

Eddie Howe’s Magpies visit Vitality Stadium on Saturday, February 11, in what is likely to be an emotional occasion for the former Cherries boss.

Howe took charge of his first game against his old club in September, in a 1-1 draw at St James’s Park. The two sides are set to go head-to-head on Tyneside again later this month in the Carabao Cup.

Then, later in February, Pep Guardiola brings Man City to Vitality Stadium. The Premier League champions will face Cherries on Saturday, February 25.

That game remains subject to change, dependent on if either club reaches the EFL Cup final that same weekend.

The two sides met in August, when Cherries were managed by Scott Parker, with City running out comfortable 4-0 winners.

Cherries have never beaten Man City, losing 16 of their 18 matches over the past 35 years.
