IF you’ve been watching Channel 4 recently, you may have noticed that they’ve been heavily promoting a new drama called This is England ‘86.
The four-part series airs in September and is set three years on from Shane Meadow’s BAFTA-award winning film, This is England, and features original cast members.
It’s not alone in making the transition from cinema to TV.
It joins the likes of M*A*S*H, Clueless, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fame, Ferris Bueller and Planet of the Apes.
Can you think of any more?
