FLOWERS have been placed for the man who was killed in a car crash on Monday morning.

A bouquet of flowers has been placed on a fence post near to the junction of Dorchester Road and Ringwood Road, Poole

Glass remains strewn on the roadside next to a blue Citroen parked up with bumper damage, but it’s unclear if it’s related to the crash.

It follows a crash involving a silver Vauxhall Astra and a parked car on Monday, December 4 some time after 7am.

His next of kin has been made aware, police say.

Police closed the road until around 10am on Monday following the crash and are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Gareth Thomas, of the roads policing team, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died in this collision, and we are investigating the incident to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, and I would urge anyone who was driving in the Ringwood Road area between around 7am and 8.45am on Monday 4 December 2023 to please review any available dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
