The Avon Causeway in Christchurch is closed after crashes in 'quick succession' due to ice.
The road, which has suffered closures all week due to flooding and icy conditions, has been closed by police again.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Police said: "Due to road traffic collisions in quick succession as a result of the ice, the Avon Causeway is closed both ways.

"This is to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. Please seek alternative routes."

Traffic is likely to build up throughout Christchurch due to the closure of Stony Lane in Burton as well due to flooding.
