A NEW vintage-themed cocktail bar is set to open in Bournemouth this week.
The independent bar branded ‘99 Perk’ is due to open in the Bournemouth Triangle on Thursday, December 4.
The bar is expected to boast old charm, serve signature cocktails with a “vintage twist”, and have electro swing music on repeat.
99 Perk is being launched by Polish couple Kasia Rosinska and Kewin Nieznanski, who recently moved from West Sussex to Bournemouth to follow their dream of opening a bar.
23-year-old Kasia said: “We are both passionate mixologists. It was always our dream to open a cocktail bar with authentic cocktails made from fresh ingredients.
“We focus on high quality. It won’t be about making cocktails fast; they’ll all be hand-shaken and with fresh ingredients.”
The drinks menu has been previewed on 99 Perk’s social media, and boasts the most classic cocktails, as well as new inventions including the ‘Electric Swing’ and the ‘French 99’.
The bar is also set to serve bar snacks such as dry roasted nuts and marinated olives, and mulled wine over the Christmas period.
Kasia said she is looking forward to seeing people come together at the new bar. She said: “We want to bring people together with joy and give them a nice experience. We want them to enjoy the cocktails and a nice atmosphere.
“By opening 99 Perk we are bringing people together and sharing our experience with mixology.
“We believe that a nice atmosphere, cosy vintage interior and delicious cocktails accompanied by electro swing music can make unforgettable memories.”
99 Perk will open at 113-115 Commercial Road on Thursday, December 4.
