A POPULAR family-run coffee and branch bar has announced it will be closing its doors this weekend.

Happyccino has operated at Walford Mill in Knobcrook Road, Wimborne, since for two years.

The business has encouraged its “valued customers” to pop in for a final coffee.

Since opening in 2020, Happyccino has aimed to focus on promoting positive wellbeing and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.

In a statement posted on social media, Happyccino said: “After an amazingly crazy few years, sadly Happyccino at The Mill will be closing its doors on Saturday, November 12.

“As a family-run business we haven’t taken this decision lightly, and to say we are gutted would be an understatement.

“We cannot thank all our customers, staff and suppliers enough for all the support you have given us since opening our doors in 2020. We will be forever grateful for your continued support and giving us the opportunity to grow as a business.

“We would love to see all our valued customers one last time before we close, so please head down for one last coffee.

“Keep your eyes peeled for news on what’s next for the mill, coming soon.”

Residents shared their sadness at the news on the bar’s social media page, with many wishing the proprietors good luck in the future.

The Daily Echo has approached Happyccino for details on why it is closing and what could be taking on the premises.
