A well-known pub in the New Forest has temporarily closed its doors.
The Cat & Fiddle in Lyndhurst Road at Hinton Admiral is currently shut.
The Harvester branch is owned by pub, restaurant and bar chain Mitchells & Butlers.
A message on the Harvester website reads: “This restaurant is now closed.
“We have now closed our doors as a Harvester restaurant to make way for something new and exciting.”

Customers are directed to find their nearest Harvester restaurant.
The Daily Echo contacted Mitchells & Butlers for a comment.
A spokesperson said the chain was unable to comment at this time “while plans are in progress”.
Other branches of Harvester in the area include The Durley Inn at Durley Chine, The Neptune at Boscombe, The Cooper Dean in Bournemouth and Harvester Poole in Alder Road.
There appears to be no outstanding planning applications for the site currently under consideration by New Forest District Council.
