A STRIP club in Bournemouth has secured a renewal on its licence from councillors.
For Your Eyes Only (FYEO) in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, faced a BCP Council licensing sub-committee hearing in relation to its sexual entertainment venue (SEV) application.
The venue, has operated as a strip club since 1998, attracted two written objections, one of which claimed men could come out of the premises “het up” and behave aggressively.
Solicitor Julia Palmer, representing licence holder Hampshire Restaurants Ltd, said the objections were without foundation and action had been taken to address concerns about the signage on the exterior of the lap dancing club.
Councillors on the licensing sub-committee granted application meaning all three Bournemouth town centre strip clubs successfully obtained SEV renewals from the local authority this year.
