BOBBY’S in Bournemouth town centre has opened a new floor with a tunnel through to the Lower Gardens.
This weekend the Bobby’s store opened a new lower ground floor which hosts a plant shop, a boutique for dogs and a pop-up with leather bags.
The store has also reopened a tunnel which leads from the lower ground floor to Bournemouth gardens.
On the lower grand floor will be three new businesses including PawPrint boutique, which sells dog harnesses and leads and also hosts dog friendly events.

Plant business Wild Roots from Poole previously did the window displays in Bobby’s and are collaborating with another local business Ivy Line to sell plants, plants pots and decorations for the home.
The tunnel features a timeline of Bobby’s and a mural of Bournemouth landmarks.
Along with a whole new floor, the store will be opening a new arcade section in the beauty hall which features a range of local skincare brands.

Marketing executive Hattie Dyas said: “It's a phased project, there's so many areas of the building that need work but we didn't want to close completely for two plus years.
“Bobby’s is very much a community project so it's all about serving the community and supporting local businesses so it only seemed right to bring people along for the journey.
“It's still a work in progress but I think this year has really been a building year for us and the new areas look amazing.”

The new opening in Bobby’s is one of many this year, the building currently hosts a beauty hall, sushi and champagne bar, an ice cream shop, a florists, a toy shop, a children’s space and a gallery among other businesses.
The store does not yet have a date for full completion but is continuing to work on projects within the building.
Bobby’s made a big comeback last year on Wednesday, September 8, half a century after its departure.
The historic department store officially opened its doors to the public, 50 years after it was replaced by Debenhams.
There is a history section in the tunnel which details Bobby’s past in Bournemouth and features artefacts found during work on the building.
