A 90's inspired retro pub providing daily entertainment in Bournemouth- The Four Horsemen is Pub of the Week.
Found in the Triangle, The Four Horsemen is vibrant town pub boasting a selection of classic homemade meals, craft beers, ales and spirits, as well as quiz nights, stand-up comedy and live music.
The pub was bought by Dan Sullivan in 2019, and he has since introduced a retro 90’s theme across the premises and the food menu.
Dan said: “I managed the pub from 2014 to 2017, then I left for a couple of years and ended up coming back and buying it.
"It was a sort of blues bar theme before. We picked the 90’s theme try to make it as visually unique and fun as possible. We’ve definitely made the place more colourful.
“We try and go a bit out there with the food too. One of our most popular burgers is the fried chicken and we make the crumb with smashed up monster much crisps, so it's just injecting it with a bit of fun and the 90's feel."
As a pub in the heart of Bournemouth, The Four Horsemen is never short of drinkers and diners, and has been able to build a crowd of “really nice regulars”.

Dan said: “The sense of community makes this pub special.
"We’re all friends with the regulars, and everybody gets on really well.
“During the table service era of covid we had a lot of time to get to know them because we were going round each table."
Visitors to the The Four Horsemen can also get involved in its busy events calander, and the regular party nights held from the pub’s microclub.

Dan said: “Every Monday we have boardgames, every Tuesday we have a smart quiz, every Wednesday we have another games night, Thursday night is live music, and Friday and Saturday is a mixture of live music and DJs.
"We have a venue downstairs so we do quite a lot of club lights on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a really good party atmosphere.
"On Sundays we have sometimes stand up comedy or open mic.
"Where we've got such a diverse collection of events, we almost get a new crowd in every night."
