A GROWING business bringing smiles to faces- Highcliffe Hampers is Trader of the Week.

Highcliffe Hampers is a family-run business offering luxurious gift baskets for all occasions.

The idea was introduced by Highcliffe resident Adele Hamilton during the lockdown, when the 47-year-old was keen to deliver treats to friends and families.

Adele said: “It was during lockdown when we couldn’t see anybody. I made up a few little hampers and left them on doorsteps.

“Someone said to me ‘they’re absolutely lovely, you should start a little business’. So, I made up a couple of gift boxes and hampers to put on Facebook, and people started buying them.”

Now, Adele regularly crafts and delivers a divine selection of hampers across areas including Highcliffe, Lymington, Mudeford and New Milton.

Many of the hampers are created with special occasions in mind such as birthdays, weddings and baby showers.

Adele said: “You’d be amazed at how many different ones there are. It’s such fun creating them. I love putting all different colours together and coming up with different ideas.”

Customers can also have hampers made to order, with a great choice of food, drink and gifts to fill the basket.

Adele added: “People can have whatever they want. I will make them bespoke for them.

“Sometimes people give me a blank canvas. They’ll tell me their budget and what their friend likes, and they’ll let me go to town on it.
