TWO teenagers have been arrested after a fire was believed to have been started deliberately in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police received a report at around 9.45pm on Friday, January 14, of a fire at a property in Wimborne Road in Winton.

Officers attended with the fire service to carry out enquiries at the scene. There were no reports of any serious injuries.

Following enquiries by detectives from Bournemouth CID, a 14-year-old boy from Bournemouth and a 14-year-old boy from Poole were arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life.

They have been released under investigation as further enquiries are conducted.
