A MONTHLY comedy night is back at the Old Firestation in Bournemouth this week.

Comedy Nation will be back at the venue  this Wednesday, November 17, at 6.30pm.

The rip-roaring comedy night is back with a band featuring Ria Lina, who has previously appeared on Mock the Week. 

Alongside Ria will be Javier Jarquin, Ola Labib and host Ben Keenan - who is also the host of Craic Head Comedy. 

Organiser and host Ben Keenan said: “Comedy Nation brings you the finest up and coming comics in the nation and beyond. Last month the room was bulging with over 280 people -it's a super supportive and inclusive night.

“I can guarantee one thing - there will be lols.”

Ria Lina is described as fearless, provocative and very funny. The accomplished comedian, writer, actor and one of the hardest working performers in the business. After her debut on Mock The Week,  Ria is quickly becoming a household name. 

Javier Jarquin began his comedy career as the Winner of the 2007 ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition in Christchurch New Zealand. The multi award winning comedian went on to achieve Best Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and Best National Artist at the World Buskers Festival.

Ola Labib is known for her infectious charm, edgy comedy material and wry humour. Being the only Black, Muslim, female, Sudanese comedian currently performing in the UK she has already gained serious ground on the circuit and has no intention of slowing down. 

Ola’s mission is to smash stereotypes and expectations through stand up has resulted in her gigging at top venues nationwide including The Comedy Store.
