A MONTHLY comedy night is back at Belgium and Blues in Bournemouth this weekend.

Craic Head Comedy will be back at Belgium and Blues this Sunday, October 24, at 6.30pm.

Guests can get a much-needed dose of belly-laughs alongside Belgium and Blues famous Sunday roast and craft beers.

After launching the first show in the midst of the pandemic - Irish comedy host Ben Keenan, who lives in Bournemouth, is back with the next instalment of Craichead Comedy.

Ben said: ''Craic Head Comedy is a monthly night at Belgium and blues where you expect the the unexpected.

"Every month is a line up of the best upcoming acts from around the area and beyond, everything from surreal and silly acts, musical comedy and straight joke slingers -  no one line up is the same.

Bournemouth Echo:

The monthly comedy night is back this weekend.

"The night prides itself on being inclusive and diverse, with a mix of acts which makes for an amazing array of talent.

"Also - so as to not make the audience feel left out, I host a half time accent competition that always goes down a storm.

"To top it all off, the ticket price includes a mouth watering freshly cooked roast dinner. Comedy and a roast on a gloomy Sunday sounds perfect to me!"

Three acts will take to the stage throughout the night including Andrew White who has been described as ‘flamboyantly repressed and optimistically cynical’ by the Daily Record.

Lively musical comedian Jenny Hart will also be performing with her ‘joyously wrong and infinitely dirty, dark and flirty’ set.

Finally, up-and-coming comedian Hetty Austin from Portsmouth will be performing with material covering everything from the perils of being a hairy woman, to romance and video games.
