A WOMAN has received a £1,100 fine for breaking Covid lockdown rules.
Ariana Halpen, 26 and of Arne Avenue, Poole, was alleged to have taken part in a gathering of two or more people at her home on February 19 - when the country was in a national lockdown.
The case against Halpen was proved under the single justice procedure.
She was not present at Weymouth Magistrates' Court when the offence was dealt with.
Alongside the fine, the defendant was ordered to pay a £110 surcharge and £85 costs.
