A BOURNEMOUTH man has been hit with a fine of more than £1,000 for breaching Covid regulations.
The case against Robert Mark Elliott, aged 43 and of Fortescue Road, Bournemouth, was proved against him under the single justice procedure process.
It was alleged that Elliott participated in a gathering in a private dwelling with two or more people in Constitution Hill Road, Poole, on February 6.
At this time the country was still in a national lockdown with strict restrictions on social contact in place.
A single magistrate sitting at Weymouth on October 5 issued Elliott, who was not present in court, with a £1,100 fine and order to pay a £110 surcharge and £85 costs.
