A BOURNEMOUTH man has been fined more than £2,000 for breaching coronavirus regulations during lockdown.
Rafal Klamka was hit with the financial penalty by the courts in relation to two gatherings in January and February of this year.
The case was dealt with at Weymouth Magistrates' Court under the single justice procedure process with the defendant not present in court.
Klamka, aged 37 and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, was convicted of two counts of taking part in a gathering of two or more people in a private dwelling or indoors in breach of Covid lockdown restrictions.
The gatherings are said to have taken place at his home address on January 24 and February 14.
The bench issued Klamka with a £2,200 fine alongside an order to pay a £220 victim surcharge and £170 costs.
At the time of the offences, the country was still in the third national lockdown since the start of the pandemic
