THE highly anticipated opening of Bobby's in the heart of Bournemouth town centre is now just one day away.
Following months of work at the former Debenhams site in the Square, developers Verve are ready to bring the historic Bobby's department store name back to the town – 50 years after the brand disappeared.
New signage has been placed on the front of large building ahead of its opening tomorrow, September 9.
Bobby's was initially due to open last month, however, this was pushed back due to workers being 'pinged' by the Covid NHS app.
As reported, the store will open with eight initial elements, with additions due to open thick and fast in the coming months.
The offerings at launch are Bobby’s Beauty Hall, GIANT art gallery, Bobby's Ice Cream Parlour, Drool dog food hall, DRGNFLY pan-Asian and sushi restaurant, South Coast Makers Shop, Benito Brow Bar and Intime Watch Repair.
