THE FOUNDER of a Bournemouth skincare brand says she is “thrilled” that her products will be stocked in the new Bobby’s Department Store.

Bobby & Co, located in The Square, will be opening on September 9, revived just shy of 50 years after it was replaced by Debenhams.

The store has been designed to create a space to connect the Bournemouth community with local, ethical, and unique brands.

One of those local brands is BAO Skincare, founder by Beth Coldrick in 2018.

The brand provides luxurious, high-quality face and body products using only the best natural, certified vegan, and organic ingredients, and is handmade locally at Beth’s studio in Dorset.

Beth said: “I am so thrilled to be going into Bobby’s this summer.

“The store and my brand marry perfectly with Bobby’s focusing on sustainability, ethical sourcing and promoting local independent brands.

“BAO is a brand made with love, and I can’t wait to showcase in this amazing new Bournemouth hotspot.”

The brand is now stocked in over 25 stockists worldwide, including stockists in Hong Kong and Greece as well as online beauty giant Feel Unique, Bobby’s will be its newest home.

Beth has overcome a lot in the last few years after undergoing three lifechanging surgeries for her IBD which has affected her throughout her whole life.

She started BAO to soothe her sore and sensitive skin which was a side effect of the drugs she had to take to treat her IBD, using only natural, organic and vegan ingredients.

Now, her products are used internationally to make other people’s skin happy and healthy, and she is a beacon of hope for those looking to start their own business whilst suffering from a chronic illness.
