A CHILD was reunited with his mother at Durley Chine after going missing at Bournemouth Pier.
Southbourne Coastguard were called at 6.18pm to take part in the joint rescue of a vulnerable missing 12 year-old who had last been seen in the water near Bournemouth Pier last night, Monday, August 23.
Emergency services including Dorset Police and Poole Coastguard conducted a shoreline search in both an easterly and westerly direction from the pier.
RNLI Poole Lifeboat Station was conducting a sea search while a rescue helicopter was also searching from the air.

Whilst the teams were searching, news came through that the boy had been found near Durley Chine and was reunited with his mum.
At this point all emergency services stood down.
