A TAXI driver was threatened with a knife by a passenger who made from the vehicle with cash.
Police received a report of the robbery in the West Howe area of Bournemouth on Monday morning.
The victim parked his car shortly after 7.20am in Turbary Park Avenue and asked for payment from a male customer.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said it was reported that a man got out of the back seat and into the front seat of the taxi and grabbed the victim by the back of his head, before producing a knife and demanding money.
