IF YOU are venturing out to watch the Euros final tonight, expect showers as the weather is expected to deteriorate through the day.

Through the day, showery rain spreads in from the west, affecting the whole of the South West by the late afternoon, with some heavier outbreaks close to kick off.

But England fans hope they will be dancing in the rain this evening as the Three lions take on Italy in the showpiece event at 8pm.

Local forecaster Bournemouth and Poole Weather said: “For those heading out this evening, which I imagine they’ll be plenty, its not a great evening weather wise with showers and rain, some of which will be heavy.

“Temperatures for kick off around 13 to 15 degrees.

"Best conditions today will be early with some limited brightness before showers and rain move in through the afternoon, sporadic but with heavy bursts mixed in.

"Another cool day with temperatures at just 17 to 18 degrees."

The Met Office says heavy showers are possible today, and Monday, with outbreaks of rain continue through the night.
