THE Southbourne Coastguard was called to help in a joint rescue with the police and Lymington CRT on Sunday night, July 4.
The crew were called shortly at 8.50pm to help the casualty.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard said: “Once on scene RNLI Mudeford lifeboat had located and attempted to recover the casualty however the casualty eventually made it to shore unaided and into Police care.

"We supplied some blankets but otherwise the casualty appeared OK.
"Shortly after, the police transported the casualty onto the next level of care and all teams stood down. Lymington CRT also tasked."
