Weymouth Magistrates Court
A MAN is due to appear in court tomorrow following a crash which left a scooter rider seriously injured.
The collision took place at around 6.50pm on Friday January 1 in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, near to the junction with Rosebery Road. It involved a black BMW 320D and a black Lexomoto scooter.
The rider of the scooter, a 19-year-old Bournemouth man, suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Following enquiries, a 51-year-old man from Bournemouth has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
