A LARGE quantity of fragrances stolen from commercial premises in Westbourne were recovered by police.
On the evening of Friday, April 2, officers were called to the area by a member of the public who heard a disturbance from the nearby premises.
Two suspects managed to gain entry and stole a number of fragrances.
An officer discovered the pair with the stolen goods in a nearby woodland where they ran off, leaving the officer with the stolen goods.
One of the suspects ran directly into the path of another officer who detained him.
The second person was not located.
The male who was stopped is now assisting officers with their enquiries.
