SCHOOL pupils have been warned against gathering after school at Poole bus station.

Police are stepping up patrols in the area as more youngsters return to the classroom this week.

Officers from the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team will be patrolling in the coming weeks to ensure people are complying with Covid-19 restrictions.

Police speak out about litter in West Howe

A spokesman for Poole police said: "Please note that you can still currently only meet one other person not from your household outside. So gathering after school at Poole Bus Station is not permitted once students have left school grounds. We need your support for this last push."

They praised students who were complying with the regulations during patrols yesterday.
