POLICE have urged the public to report litter including needles and other hazards BCP Council.
Officers in Bournemouth made the plea after coming across large amounts of rubbish during routine patrols in West Howe yesterday.
They discovered items including plastic bags, bottles, cans, cigarette butts and food packaging.
And they have warned people they could be prosecuted.

A spokesman for Bournemouth Police said: "Whilst on high visibility in West Howe, Police Community Support Officers came across large amounts of dropped litter. It is an offence to drop litter, but not only that, it looks unsightly and shows no respect for the environment.
"Please help keep Bournemouth clean and free from litter by taking your rubbish with you. Also, please report large amounts of litter, needles or other hazards to your local council.Thank you."
