SHOCKING footage showing the moment a moped collided with a woman in Bournemouth before callous thieves stole her mobile phone has emerged.

As reported in the Daily Echo, a pair of thieves took the 29-yearold’s phone as she was lying in the road with a fractured collarbone and leg.

Chriss George, pictured below, who runs Vip Consult in Holdenhurst Road, metres from where the collision happened near the Lion’s Head pub, checked the recordings from the cameras outside the shop following the crash.

The footage from the shop, which offers CCTV and security services alongside computer and phone repairs, clearly shows the moment the woman and motorbike collided and the aftermath as people crowded round.

Most were there to help, but police are still hunting the pair they suspect stole the phone before running off towards the Springbourne roundabout.

Chriss said: “I heard it, but I was so busy that I didn’t pay too much attention until later, I just thought it was a small car accident.

“Later I realised we had it on CCTV when someone said what had happened.

“I knew that she was OK, so that was a relief, but it looks serious. What is there to think? They have no conscience.

“I’m hoping that the footage will help find them.”

Police said yesterday that no arrests had yet been made and the investigation was ongoing.

The first suspect was described as a white man in his 40s, with fair, cropped hair.

He was wearing a light green, collared jacket which was zipped up to the top.

The second offender was a woman in her 50s wearing a white cardigan with stars or snowflakes printed on it.
