A RECENT Echo article referred to the lack of ideas to attract visitors to Poole, especially when the Hamworthy side of the Twin Sails Bridge is developed.

How about two glamorous tall glass towers similar to the power station chimneys demolished decades ago?

They would be iconic tributes to the past, landmarks for shipping but now with high 360 degree views, complimented by restaurants, shops and landscaped gardens.

They would be an all weather attraction offering wonderful seascapes looking towards Brownsea Island , the historic old town, over the Purbecks and Corfe, and a monorail tour around the bay, Sandbanks and Upton House.

There could be free parking and entry on presentation of your ID and Poole council tax documents.
