Christchurch planners have opened the door for the take-away nightmare to begin in Bridge Street, Christchurch.
On March 11 they gave consent for a restaurant between the bridges to operate a take away service. Despite 24 objections from local residents the planning committee in its wisdom decided that the take-away would be beneficial to the area.
Would they be so keen if it was on their doorstep?
