BE it paucity of education or merely memory failure posed by the passage of too many birthdays, but try as I might I can not recall a female parallel to the expression “male chauvinist pig”.

However, if one does exist, columnist Faith Eckersall has it in spades!

This of course is provoked by the article from Saturday’s Daily Echo headed Life on Planet Bloke.

Don’t get me wrong, I think her articles, including this one, are very skillfully assembled and are among my first to read on a Saturday.

I now await perhaps Vixens from Venus, from Neil Butterworth – a not inconsiderable waspish wit on behalf of us blokes.
