Hammers boss Browne closes in on signing of Magookin

Hamworthy United manager Simon Browne is hoping to seal the signature of Wimborne’s former Cherries trainee Brad Magookin.

Magookin could be in line to make his Hammers debut at home against Fawley in the FA Vase second qualifying round (£700 prize money).

Elsewhere in the knockout competition, New Milton will be bidding to gain revenge on local rivals Lymington at Fawcett’s Field. Linnets’ neighbours knocked them out of the Hampshire Senior Cup in midweek.
