POOLE Town manager Tom Killick is searching for cover at full-back as he looks to avoid any player shortages during Dolphins’ promotion push.

Southern Division One South & West title favourites Poole will be aiming to move a step closer to glory when they visit Clevedon tonight (7.45pm).

Killick is keen to add to his defensive resources for the run-in with Simon Baines unavailable for the rest of the season due to working in America.

The Poole boss told the Daily Echo: “I still want to get someone because, with Simon Baines gone, we are a little bit short.”

Dolphins have been boosted by right-back Sam Clarke’s rapid recovery from a head and neck injury. The former Weymouth man is named in tonight’s squad but Killick will have to shuffle his pack at left-back as first-choice Keith Emmerson is unavailable due to work commitments.
