DUTCHMAN Lorenzo Davids insists Cherries are focusing on righting some wrongs at Crawley Town tonight.
Davids made his long-awaited debut against Walsall on Saturday having been sidelined with a knee injury since signing for the Dorset club last month.
But despite both Davids and countryman Frank Demouge making their League One bows, Paul Groves’s side continued their indifferent form by slipping to a 2-1 defeat.
And Davids is keen to return to action at Broadfield Stadium tonight (7.45pm) and ease the pressure on under-fire boss Groves.
The 26-year-old cousin of former Juventus star Edgar Davids told the club website: “It was so frustrating on Saturday.
“I did my best in my first game in England and gave everything. It was an honour to be named as man of the match, but, for me, the result is everything and the most important thing.
“I can’t wait for Crawley and I’m glad that the game is coming so quickly because it gives us the chance to put things right. We know we are capable of that and that is our focus.”
Crawley will give a late fitness test to Kyle McFadzean (hip), but ex-Cherries star Shaun Cooper is set to miss out on facing his former club due to a groin injury.
Shaun MacDonald and Simon Francis remain sidelined for Cherries, but Richard Hughes (thigh) could be in contention to return.
Marc Pugh and Harry Arter are also not expected to travel to Sussex.
