International Ringwood school ‘rewarding’

FOREIGN students visiting a Ringwood school have been putting their artistic skills to the test.

Language students staying at the Ringwood Waldorf School spent an afternoon making animation models, art and iPod cases.

The 30 students, aged 12 to 16, also enjoyed theatre, dance and day trips to the New Forest and Roman Bath.

This is the second year the Folly Farm Lane school has welcomed foreign students during the summer holidays , which it runs in partnership with the Lewis School of English.

Vanessa Innes, one of the school’s trustees, said: “Our International Summer School is fun and rewarding for everyone. It provides our foreign students with typically the biggest experience of independence so far in their young lives.”
