Police closed a busy junction after a collision between a lorry and a car.
Both lanes of the B3049 Broadstone Way were shut following the incident between a silver Renault Laguna, registered to a Poole man, and a white DAF van at the junction with Waterloo Road.
Paramedics were called to deal with slight injuries.
Officers were re-directing traffic at the crossroads, near Burger King.
Recovery was requested for both vehicles and the road re-opened by 3pm.
The local authority also attended to clear debris from the scene.
