THE annual Keeble Summer Event, held in Northbourne for the 174 households around Keeble Road, was declared a huge success.

More than 80 people enjoyed the stalls, games and competitions and raised £400 for community activities. The event was organised by Action 4 Keeble – a group made up of Spectrum Western Challenge residents, alongside Knightstone and Raglan Housing Association residents.

Kinson North councillor Dennis Gritt opened proceedings, and fellow councillors Amedeo Angiolini and Mark Battistini also enjoyed the fun.

Pat Curtis, chair of Action 4 Keeble said: “I would like to thank all of my fellow committee members for their hard work. We were pleased that the weather was so good.”

Claire Vincent, neighbourhood worker for Kinson, said: “The committee worked really hard together.”
