PUT a smile on your mug and help Macmillan Cancer Support.

That’s the message from the leading cancer charity, which once again is hoping to raise thousands to support those with cancer through its World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday, September 24.

This year Macmillan has teamed up with M&S and its cafes.

The retailer has donated 10 per cent of the value of a range of products throughout August and into this month to the good cause.

In addition M&S cafes are donating 50p for every coffee sold on Friday, September 24 itself to help raise the money needed to provide vital Macmillan services each year.

Coffee morning events can be staged anywhere, including the workplace, your own home, the local cricket club or someone’s garden, either on or on a day around September 24.

Around 3,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year in Dorset and one in three will be diagnosed during their lifetime.

Macmillan provides much-needed support to these people including help with everyday tasks, financial advice, assistance to help with the unexpected costs of cancer, emotional support or expert medical care from a Macmillan professional.

People can register their event at macmillan.org.uk/coffee or call 0845 070 1315 quoting code LA9.
